Sonal Panda

As an Associate at Tau Ventures, Sonal is responsible for sourcing and evaluating startups in digital health, enterprise, and automation. Sonal has built her career in healthcare, leading business development initiatives at Asian Heart Institute, the top rated cardiac hospital in India. At the Institute, she developed a Joint Venture for an oncology institute, and worked with chronic care and telemedicine startups to enable patient's access to healthcare. Prior to that, Sonal was in the Corporate Strategy team of a Fortune 500 Indian conglomerate, where she worked on global multi-billion-dollar acquisitions. Sonal recently graduated from The Wharton School with her MBA in Health Care Management and Finance, and received the Kaiser Fellowship. She is an active angel investor, and member of groups such as Wharton Alumni Angels in the US, and 1crowd and Lead Angels in India.
